How To Operate And Maintain Roller Press
1) Roller surface of roller press need to be regularly maintained.
2) Sometimes, smooth roll press is equipped with wheels on the rack. When the roller surface has pits or grooves, there is no need to tear down the roller surface and just repair the surface of the roller on the machine.
3) The teeth board or gear ring of Tooth surface roller press can be replaced or U-turned. When the teeth is worn to a certain extent, it must be replaced or repaired, otherwise, it will lead to uneven final product size, more power consumption, and low production capacity etc.
4) Some roller presses are equipped with welding equipment, which can be repaired directly on the machine.
5) Some smooth roller presses are attached with automatic axial reciprocating mobile device, which makes the roller surface wear uniformly.
6) When the roller surface wears, the width of discharge opening will increase, then the movable roller needs to be adjusted (jaw plate should be adjusted for single roll press). And remember to keep the two rollers parallel and prevent skewed when adjusting.
7) Sliding bearing roller press should be paid more attention to the gap of roller bearing. The top clearance between roller bearing and the journal is usually 1 / 10000 ~ 1.5/10000 of the journal diameter, while the side clearance is 1 / 2 to 1 / 3 of the top clearance.
To ensure the normal operation of roller press, the bearing lubrication situation should be checked regularly. Sliding bearing is regularly put into oil by oil cup or by man, and rolling bearing is regularly put into oil for lubricating and sealing. The note oil places of roll press include drive bearing, roller bearing shaft, all gears and free bearing sliding surface.
Roller press crush materials mainly by friction, fracturing and extrusion. When used for primary crushing or increasing the crushing ratio, the teeth or grooves are often set on the roller surface to strengthen the fracturing effect. According to the number of rollers, roller press can be divided into single roller, double roller and multi-roller press, which are suitable for the primary, secondary or tertiary crushing of various medium hard materials, such as coal, limestone, cement clinker and feldspar etc.
