Operating principle of double toggle jaw crushers
The jaw crusher was invented in the mid 19th century by an American named Blake. It is also called jaw crusher with double switches.
Double toggle jaw crushers are used as coarse and fine grinding. The principle of operation is intermittent. On a horizontal axis with an eccentric center section is the Pitman, which operates the jaw momentum thanks to a double toggle. Swing jaw is supported in sliding sleeves or rubber bonded to metal bonding. The bearings are installed in the connecting rod (inner bearings) and through crusher (external bearings).
Opening feed mills may extend over more than 2000 mm. The speed of the eccentric shaft is between 180 and 280 min-1, depending on the size of the crusher.
Eccentric-shaft support dual jaw crushers and jaw crushers simple rocking
The outer bearings (b) the two double toggle jaw crusher (Fig. 1) and the simple toggle jaw crusher (Fig. 2) have to support the eccentric shaft in the frame. The outer bearings are more heavily loaded than the inner bearings, as they must convey not only the crushing forces, but also to support the weight of the wheel and transmit the loads resulting from the training.
The inner bearings (a) support rod double jaw crushers and jaw swing in simple toggle jaw crushers. Due to the eccentric shaft, bearings interiors have a larger bore than the outer bearings.

Example: Double toggle jaw crusher type bearings lnner 12K: 2 ball bearings FAG 23168BKMB Toller (340 x 500 x 190 mm) adapter siceve FAG H3168HGJ outside: two spherical bearings FAG 23256KMB Toller (280 x 500 x 176 mm) adapter H2356HGJ sleeve FAG.
Spherical roller bearings of series 222 are mainly used as bearing interior and 223 series bearing races outside. In some machines, spherical roller bearings of series 231 and 232 and 240 and 241 have been used successfully.
Outer bearing supports usually consist of a fixed bearing and a floating bearing. For materials bearing an internal floating bearing (possibility of axial displacement 1-2 mm) is preferably used. The bearings can be mounted either directly on the shaft cylindrical or conical, or on adapter sleeves or withdrawal. The bearings are preferably attached with hydraulic adapter sleeves (JGH).
